I completed tertiary studies in UK in Business Administration and Work Study and worked in UK Management Consulting for recording and electronics industries for US and European companies. In NZ I have worked on planning, plant design, export marketing and distribution, spent ten years as Problem Account Manager for an investment bank working on debt recovery and business turnarounds and have also owned manufacturing and service businesses. My consulting experience covers a variety of businesses (including medical centres) and voluntary organisations and twenty years in domestic and international tourism including extensive work in New Zealand and overseas in youth and adventure tourism. I have been a director and chairman of a number of companies and organisations and am a Fellow of the Institute of Directors of New Zealand. I am currently manager of two practices owned by Amberley Medical Centre in North Canterbury. I look forward to helping PMAANZ build further recognition as an organisation representing and promoting professional practice management. |
