Conference - Hamilton 6-8 Sept 2012

Dates for PMAANZ conference in Hamilton next year are, 6-8 September. We look forward to being hosted by the Waikato Branch, cow bells in hand! It will be held at the SkyCity Conference Centre and the theme is "Change, Reinventing the Wheel".

New PMAANZ Branch - Northland

At the AGM held at conference in Nelson on 29th Oct 2011, it was offically announced that a new PMAANZ branch will be sited in Northland. Kay Brittenden will be the new Chair and a new page has been created on the website. Please check there if you are interested in being part of this new branch or wish to talk with Kay about joining them for meetings. Congratulations Northland Branch.

Department of Labour Information: Preparing your workplace for an emergency

All workplaces are required to have procedures in place to effectively manage emergencies that could happen at work.  A planned emergency response is required under health and safety legislation to protect all people present.  Employers have a legal responsibility to have plans in place in the event of any emergency.  A set of simple forms is available to help you identify and manage your emergency procedures.  For information and resources visit the Department of Labour emergency procedures webpage.

PMAANZ Salary Survey 2010

Our bi-annual Practice Managers and Administrators salary survey completed in July 2010, is available in the members only section of the website. Survey results are provided free to current PMAANZ members and may be purchased by non members for $100+gst.
