The Nelson group meets every second month, usually at a different surgery so that nobody is required to travel the long distances to all meetings. This works really well, especially, now there are so many new surgeries or surgeries with extensions, to cope with the extra demands being put on General Practice. Our members come from Blenheim, Nelson, Wakefield and Motueka. Golden Bay is a good hour from Motueka and as yet we have no members from that area.

The local executive is already working on the programme of educational meetings for the next financial year for all administration staff employed in the health industry.
