Thursday 14th October - Sunday 17 October 2010

Amazing arts and culture, fantastic food and wine and a compact downtown area – Wellington is the perfect place to mix business and pleasure.  We invite you to immerse yourself in this incredible city and all it has to offer during PMAANZ Conference 2010.

Prepare to hear some great speakers in the fantastic facilities at Te Papa:

State of the sector: where we're at and where we're going in the health sector

-  Professional development: a range of practical practice management topics

Personal development: enhancing self-confidence and enjoyment in our roles

Check the PMAANZ website again soon for more details, including plans for special content for newer managers.

tepapaatnight_rgb_compressedWe’ve chosen Te Papa's Oceania room for our trade displays: here's where we'll have all coffee breaks and lunches.  This huge room has plenty of natural light and superb views of Wellington’s Marina and Waitangi Park.  It's spacious enough to accommodate all our trade stands together, so you'll have great access to the products and services offered by our valued sponsors and supporters. Plus you'll find it easy to experience the networking which is such a big part of any PMAANZ conference.  Make sure you plan to arrive in time for our function at 5:00pm on Thursday evening 14th October, where we'll showcase our 2010 trade displays.

And for the close of business each day, we've arranged some fabulous Wellington entertainment: live comedy theatre and music, dinner and dancing.circatheatre_rgb_compressed

After busy days at conference, good accommodation is a must. Wellington offers a wide range and high standard of accommodation, including 3 to 5 Star hotels, boutique hotels, serviced apartments, motels and stylish backpackers.  The options are vast – you choose what suits your needs. PMAANZ delegates will be welcomed at great hotels close to Te Papa during and around conference - check here for contacts in the next couple of weeks.

cablecar_rgb_compressedOne of Wellingtons best features is its walkability. Central Wellington is only 2 kilometres in diameter you can walk from one side to the other in under 30 minutes.  Hotels and meeting venues are just a short stroll from shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, art galleries and theatres.

Visit WellingtonNZ.com for details on restaurants, activities, shops, and events in the city; or pick up a copy of the Official Visitor Guide from the Wellington i-SITE Visitor Centre in Civic Square. To view a Wellington Map (with Key), click HERE
